Here are our student writers working behind the scenes to give you all the articles and reviews on the site. They are all from Uni's around the UK, and if you think you've got what it takes to become a contributor, get in touch.

    My main interests are European fairy tales and folk lore. I also enjoy making cakes.. Other hobbies I have are reading (a lot!) and belly dancing.

    My main interest is writing. I have recently started to write my own fiction pieces and scripts as a part of my course and I plan to enter some creative writing competitions later on in the year. I have also played the acoustic guitar for 8 years and I played with many different groups. I love travelling and have been all over Europe before coming to university and hope to visit many more countries after I graduate.

    I go to Lincoln University. My hobbies and interests are; playing guitar, gaming, socialising with friends, swimming, cycling, clubbing, going to the cinema and writing music.

    I'm studying contemporary lens media at University of Lincoln. My interests are photography, reading like a maniac, folk festivals and Morris dancing and singing at them.

    I am studying Journalism and Sociology at the University of Salford. I will be in my third year in September. My interests are much the same as any other student- socialising with friends, drinking, partying, but I also enjoy reading and writing in my limited spare time and I am involved in the Student's Union, helping out with election campaigns and writing for the Uni paper.

    I'm a self confessed shopaholic and love anything to do with fashion! I also enjoy reading and writing (obviously otherwise I would despise my course!). I adore horse riding, dancing, listening to music and watching a good tear-jerker chick flick. I love a good night out like every other student, but when I'm not partying hard I love just relaxing with my friends, family and boyfriend.

    I study English with Creative Writing at Brunel University West London. My interests and hobbies are; I am an avid writer, reader and horse rider, a self professed 'fangirl' and 'shipper'. I enjoy going to concerts and doing karaoke.

    In my spare time when I'm not working hard for Unitown, I love reading different books, watching films (definitely always comedy over anything else), going out with friends, spending time with my family and I have a real passion for baking!

    I'm currently studying English Literature at Westminster University. I currently write for the Barnet F.C. matchday programme and my interests include sports journalism, trying to play football, computer games, movies and reading...which helps!

    Having just returned from my gap yah adventures, I’m off to Durham University to read Anthropology. When I’m not travelling the world, going out for dinner is my favourite waste of time and my loves include hockey, lax, stamp collecting, baking and polo!

    I'm currently studying an English Studies MA at the University of Exeter where I completed my BA with honours in History. I'm sports editor of X-Media Online, Exeter's student media website and along with covering all university sport, I also cover both Exeter City and Exeter Chiefs home games. My interests include playing and watching sport, music, socialising with friends, meeting new people, and experiencing new things

    When I’m free I love to read, watch movies, or just go out and spend time with friends. My main interest is music, and even though I don’t play anything myself, I still try to go to gigs and festivals as much as I can. I’m also really into watersports. I’d love to review music for a career, and some day I want to be able to go to every festival you can think of!

    My main interests lie in the arts, having been an avid theatre-goer and performer for the majority of my life. I also enjoy spending quality time with friends and family and aim to have a career in the media after I graduate next year.
