Earn from online
surveys

Do you like this story?
If you’re a little strapped for cash this semester and are too busy (or lazy) to earn some cash in the big wide world, look no further than paid online surveys. Companies will now actually pay you to sit at home and click a few buttons, it is officially that simple! Saving money on the man power of street walkers asking for your opinion, companies can now pay you directly for helping them with their market research. The money you earn may not buy you those Jimmy Choos you’ve been eyeing up, nor the latest iPhone handset and it certainly won’t get you both. However, the earnings from the surveys will buy you that extra beer or even an extra round, depending on the length of the survey.
Getting the job
When first signing up for an online survey website such as Synovate or My Survey, you’ll be asked to fill in a survey about yourself. This then enables the company to provide you with surveys based on products that are relevant to your personal tastes and will therefore provide them more valuable feedback. Preventing businesses from putting out products that we don’t want or need, these surveys can take anything from five minutes to an hour to complete.
The easy way to make money
The requirements are minimal and there are no nervous interviews, making this an almost perfect money making method, not to mention the fact you can do it in bed! Sadly, the money you earn isn’t going to break the bank, but is certainly worth a few clicks of a mouse. Companies vary in their methods of payments, with some offering cash whilst others operate a system similar to a supermarket loyalty card. You complete surveys for points and if there’s one thing Bruce Forsyth has taught us over the years – it’s that points mean prizes. In this case, the points you earn can be transformed into TVs or even holidays.
This idea is definitely a great way of earning an extra bit of pocket money and certainly well worth an hour or less a week. And it gives you a chance to have some say on the products aimed at you coming on to the market.
